Naish's all round 4 line bar for the Park and Fly, built around a low V front line connection: the front lines join as low as possible so a small bar input changes the line length differential more, and the bar turns a kite faster. Trim is set at the Smart Loop below the bar with a graduated marking to read the position, back line trim hides under the bar floaters, and the front line swivel doubles as the flagging leash anchor. New for 2013: a 22 mm bar, narrower in the hand. Vario bar ends adjust from 45 to 51 cm.

Streamlined performance for the Bolt and Park, and the season the Universal front lines dropped to a low V: they now join at the lowest point possible, which widens the line length differential on a bar input so the kite turns faster. A swivel at that junction keeps the lines straight and anchors the front line flagging leash. Trim stays at the Smart Loop below the bar, and new for 2012 are a color coded thermo molded EVA grip, internal back line trimming and a flared aluminum center hole. Vario bar ends adjust from 45 to 51 cm.

The 4 line Universal rebuilt around a 3 m centerline, so the front lines meet high above the bar on a light line cluster instead of the previous season's pulley assembly and stainless ring, and the front line flagging leash runs freely. Power is trimmed at the Smart Loop below the bar, with a graduated marking to read the position and back line trim hidden inside the bar. New for 2011: Vario bar ends that adjust from 45 to 51 cm, on ultra soft Power Flex tips that flex under load.

The pre Vario Universal: a 4 line bar whose grey front lines meet high above the bar at a stainless 4 ring piece on a pulley assembly, with a single centerline running down through the bar to the Smart Loop. Power is trimmed below the bar by pulling the trim line and locking it in the jam cleat on the loop, and the leash flags the kite on one front line off that same ring. Bar length changes by flipping the plastic knot inserts in the bar ends, not by a slider.
